A Galaxy of Beauty: The Brown Thomas Galaxy Beauty Event!

The Brown Thomas Galaxy Beauty Event takes place from the 16th October- 2nd November. I don't know how many of you gals have visited the new Brown Thomas Beauty Hall but it is so contemporary & chic. Brown Thomas also offers over 125 complimentary beauty services ensuring the new Brown Thomas Beauty Hall is the one stop shop for all your beauty needs. I am a massive Bobbi Brown fan as of late & I love their concealers and colour correctors for under the eye. They are sublime for my pale Irish cailin pallor that needs a little brightening around the eye. I pop in to Mandi at the Bobbi Brown counter who always helps keep me abreast of the current beauty trends - be they dewy, matte or fashion forward I always leave after learning something new.

 The Brown Thomas Galaxy Beauty Event takes place over 18 days &  will host exclusive launches, beauty master classes, fragrance workshops and welcome visiting artists from around the world, bringing their expertise to the forefront. One event I am excited for is the non surgical pop-up and dermatology seminar with Dr Jane Mulrooney and Dr Katherine Mulrooney in store on October 23rd. Customers can expect a “Selfie Masterclass”, sharing tips and tricks on how to take the perfect selfie and how to filter to perfection!!!

A first in Ireland is the appointment of the Brown Thomas Beauty Personal Shopper - the celebrated Warren Dowdall. Warren has been with the Brown Thomas for seven years, working previously with YSL and Bobbi Brown. The Brown Thomas Beauty Personal Shopper offers an array of services including:

1. Complimentary express make up sessions to help perfect your look, these 15 minute long one to one’s with Warren allow customers chose a feature they wish to “perfect” and the in-house expert will go through the tricks of the trade and how to achieve this.

2. Make overs for 30 mins/60 mins/ 90 mins from €25 Euro, Warren will complete a full make over for any occasion, where customers can then take home products, across all counters, to the value of the session.

3. Wedding and Bridal Party pampering sessions will be hosted by Warren Dowdall for brides-to-be, where their dreams will be realised with the perfect big day look and pre-wedding grooming essentials!

Brown Thomas welcomes an array of visiting make up artists from leading beauty brands during the beauty event, which will leave customers looking and feeling like stars in the sky. Benjamin Ruiz from Laura Mercier from 16th – 18th October, shu uemura’s Chief make up artist Haydn Jones on 16th October and Aveda Technical Hair Educator, Ilona MacDonald on 16th & 17th October and Bobbi Brown, Featured Artist Mary-Ann Keenan will be in store on 23rd & 24th October. MAC will showcase their newest looks in a seminar in Browns Café on 16th October. Fragrance workshops will be hosted by the finest in the perfumery realm, Killian, MEMO, DIOR, Chanel and Bella Bellisima.
