There are some shoots that are really interesting to style. I loved styling Assets model
Holly Keating for a shoot with top fashion photographer
Alex Hutchinson in his studio in Dublin. The look was ethereally beautiful, vulnerable and minimalist. I teamed simple attire such as a black cotton tank, navy silk navy babydoll dress, floaty dreamy tunic and for another shot the model sported an opened sequinned vintage blazer. I have worked with Holly on different press shoots as of late but I feel this shoot showcased a whole different side to the Dublin model.
Aimee Connolly did the make up and hair for our shoot. Me and Aimee have worked on so many shoots and projects together - she is a gifted make up artist. We had some fun with my new 'Selfie' iPhone cover I had been posted as a gift from the lovely folks at New Look PR. I don't think we should quit the day job...
But we had to sneakily include everyone in our 'selfies' against their will or not - even Alex who just isn't the selfie type!
Sitting on the sidelines of the shoot means pulling and tapering the clothing so they hug the model's body in a picturesque way. It takes a while to adjust all the little things as the model varies her posing. I adore the way the items fell on Holly's petite frame. They looked effortlessly chic because she oozes confidence. These shots are very feminine and dreamy.
