Hey guys sorry for the delay in posting - truth be told I have been manic busy which is of course a great blessing :) I work as an editorial & commercial fashion stylist for different magazines & newspapers during the week & I am working as a personal shopper in
Dundrum Town Centre on Friday's & Saturday's.
I am getting fully booked with clients which is brilliant!
Dundrum is such a prestigious place to be a personal shopper and I really love my work. It is such a great feeling helping people find the perfect party dress & to be a guiding hand for someone to get a winter wardrobe update & the most flattering jeans for their shape. My clients vary from 18- 80 there truly is a great pool of choice for everyone in the centre. If you want to book my styling services you can find all the info
here
The
Sunday World Magazine asked me last week to give my guidance to their readers on what women in their forties could rock for the party season - you can check out the featured brands & accessories picks below!
It has been a very exciting time for me in many ways- I recently hosted a workshop for shoe brand Moda in Pelle in
Clerys!
Clerys has been a long standing heart of Dublin’s retail history for over 160 years.
I have collaborated with the landmark store in other ways as a stylist - I styled a Christmas shoot featuring all Clerys festive attire for a covershoot for the Sunday Business Post to mark their grand reopening & I recently modelled for a Stellar Magazine shoot which covered my 9-5 week in style (which will be hitting the shelves soon) & I wore some cute cashmere pieces & accessories and of course my Moda in Pelle loafers. I have also used
Clerys for a lot of my commercial celebrity shoots for the Sunday World Magazine & many other publications. They have a lot of funky concessions from Miss Selfridge, Stylist Pick, Sisley, Oasis & Mango but I think their best kept secret is Moda in Pelle! I have been trying to spread the word as the styles and price points of the shoes are truly fantastic.
I am a big fan of Moda in Pelle and adore their textured pointed loafers. They look so cute with tapered cigarette trouser or opaque tights and little shift dresses in Winter. I wore the pair below to a press fashion show & I got so many compliments on them! They sold out in
Clery's shortly afterward due to my social media posts which I was really excited about.
My stunning model for the 'Moda in Pelle' event
Clare from
First Options Model Agency showcased different footwear & accessories styles I handpicked that are available from 'Moda in Pelle' this season. Pictured below is my favourite full
Clery's ensemble: an orange
Oasis textured coat, a wheat coloured cashmere polo dress from the cashmere section upstairs in
Clerys, a houndstooth wool scarf from 'Moda in Pelle', black opaque
Oasis tights & stunning black suede knee skimming 'Moda in Pelle' flat boots.

I recently attended the Oasis Fashion 20 yr anniversary party in their flagship store on Grafton Street! The crowds were insane - I took a snap on my iPhone!

By far the coolest thing to happen me recently is that I was featured in a five page spread in the December issue of
Stellar Magazine! It basically showcases 'my week in style'. I never could have imagined a few years ago I would have a massive spread in a magazine I worshipped as a teenager! Truthfully It's a real game changer and its unbelievable to hold the magazine that has Alexa Chung on the cover in your hands and see a five page spread of flattering pictures that you can be proud of!
I wanted to look myself for the shoot so I did my own hair and make up the way I usually would on a day to day basis! A liner flick, my usual pale make up - no fake lashes and a slick of lipstick.
Stellar are also interviewing me this week about my career and how I got to where I am by 24 years old which I am very honoured about.

I really liked this shot from the
Stellar Mag spread! My camel trench, white jeans & fleecy oversized bag are from River Island my tee is Givenchy & my fawn suede boots are from Clerys.

Last week I attended the
Littlewoods SS15 Fashion show hosted by the lovely Caroline Morahan. I'm literally blending in with the background! My Floral D&G inspired coat is from Valentina Boutique. MC & all around babe Caroline is wearing a lime sexy Myleene Klass number from
Littlewoods that I can't wait to pick up!
Littlewoods SS15 will be available from
www.littlewoodsireland.ie from January 17th 2015.
The fashion show itself was fabulous, I loved the flirty florals, boho prints & floaty fabrics. You can check out one of my
instagram vids below of the models storming the catwalk in the RHA Gallery:
The pink bubbly and canapés were beautiful too. I arrived really peckish and felt like it must be a mirage!
Any of you guys that follow me on my social media will know that I styled Ireland's most popular blogger Suzanne Jackson of
'So Sue Me' for her second book! It has since landed on the bestseller list & I want to send her all my love and congratulations via my blog. She is one hell of a hard worker & I had a ball working with her for the three day shoot on her book. I was really touched by the lovely mention by Sue in the book. I love that through my job I get to meet & work with people that become great friends. You can pick up
'So Sue Me: What Happened Next' both in Eason's nationwide & on
www.sosueme.ie - If anyone has any styling queries about the clothes or accessories in the book don't hesitate to drop me a line.
I have been attending movie premieres & previews because I review films & bands/artists out in RTE on Mondays for 'In Colour'. I am a red carpet correspondent for the IFTA's & the big a-list premieres but I also love doing all the fun entertainment segments. I recently reviewed the Woman in Black 2, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay part 1 & also trending podcast Serial.

If anyone is trying to think up some gift ideas for Christmas I will be able to lend a helping hand - By the end of the week I will be posting my
'Lipstick Gossip Ultimate Christmas Gift Guide'. I am doing an exciting collaboration with
Ebay & also doing a fabulous giveaway & gift guide with one of my favourite shopping destinations
Kildare Village. #watchthisspace
I'm personally obsessed with
Stella & Dot jewellery. I just think it is so beautiful. I am considering becoming a seller as most of my clients would absolutely love it. I attended the press preview in the Dylan and adored all the chic Grace Kelly inspired pieces. If anything is going to hook me in - It's Grace Kelly. I also love the scarves, bags & more dainty versatile pieces. You can shop
Stella & Dot here
I attended the breakfast opening of
'The Body Shop' on liffey street which I really enjoyed. They have amazing ranges of his n' hers gift sets as well as a wide range make up & different shimmers that are great stocking fillers. I got a good laugh when I saw the peppermint foot cream - all I could think of was Mean Girls and Aaron Samuels saying "Your face smells like peppermint!" hahaha
My Christmas must have hair tool is the one everyone is talking about - the
Instyler. It straightens, curls & gives the look of a bouncy blowdry done by a pro. You can shop it through my blog by clicking
here
